The Icelandic horse is a patient horsetype which stam from Iceland. The Iclandichorse is a, more often then not, pretty robust horse who can stand in wether and wind. Some peple have flocks halfwild out on big feilds. This is especially usual on Iceland. The Icelandic horses are popular for their extra gaits. Even if the Icelandic horse often never grows over the limit for poneys (148 cm) they get called horse and not poney. The horses have been on Iceland for about 1000 and you may never take back a horse that has left Iceland there, even tough the horse is an Icelandic horse.
